As a Senior Marketing Manager (Growth & Product) at Smartness, you’ll play a leading role in driving growth across international markets. You will be responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies that generate qualified leads, boost brand visibility, and support our expansion efforts. Alongside growth initiatives, you’ll contribute to product marketing by translating customer insights into actionable materials.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Lead generation: Plan and execute marketing campaigns to attract and convert leads across multiple channels (paid, organic, email, social, etc.).
Campaign optimization: Continuously test and optimize acquisition strategies to improve ROI and reach marketing OKRs.
Content creation: Develop compelling copy and visual content for ads, landing pages, emails, and social media.
Performance analysis: Track and analyze campaign data to inform decisions and improve future marketing efforts.
Event marketing: Organize and manage Smartness’ presence at international trade shows, webinars, and industry talks.
Influencer collaboration: Identify and coordinate with key opinion leaders and influencers in the hospitality space.
Customer research: Conduct interviews with existing and potential customers to gather insights on their needs, pain points, and behaviors.
Product marketing assets: Turn customer insights into sales enablement materials such as battlecards, and competitive positioning guides.
Cross-functional alignment: Work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure messaging is consistent and aligned across all touchpoints.
Trend scouting: Stay updated on industry developments to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the marketing team.
5+ years of experience in growth marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS, startups, or scale-ups.
Experience with multi-channel lead generation and campaign management.
Proficiency in SEO/SEM, social media advertising, content marketing, and email automation.
Strong knowledge of tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
Excellent copywriting skills, with an ability to write for different formats and audiences.
Proven ability to conduct market research and turn insights into strategy.
Experience managing events, budgets, and external vendors or partners.
Strong analytical mindset and ability to make data-driven decisions.
Full professional proficiency or native-level English.
Italian is a plus, but not required.
Nice to have:
Previous experience in the hospitality tech sector.
Background in startups or scale-ups with international growth experience.
Familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
Additional language skills (e.g., German, French, Spanish).
