About Smartpricing

We are Smartpricing, and we support small and medium-sized accommodation providers with solutions to help them fight back against the huge hotel chains. We started in 2020 by providing these companies with a dynamic pricing manager which can update room prices 100 times per day, and increase revenue by 30%. We were named one of Italy’s top start-ups in 2023, and are the fastest growing B2B SaaS company in the accommodation space in both revenue and number of clients. Today we are working with over 3000 companies in over 17 countries, and steadily growing. Yet, this is only the start of our journey. 


As we head into the latter half of 2024, we are looking to launch a suite of new products and focus on internationalizing our reach further. We aim to work with 5000 SMB clients by the end of this year, and aim to keep our 100% growth rate up well into next year. This means we have a very exciting time ahead of us, and require to work with some of the best people the tech industry has. 

What Will You Do?

As part of our continued growth we are looking for a VP of Sales, based anywhere in Europe, to help us build out our sales function. As we look to internationalize our customer base, we are restructuring the sales department and our processes to fit our future expansion. Our sales team today consists of c. 20 people today, and we want to bring this closer to 50 by the end of the year and scale it further next year across Europe. 


This means that we need someone who can help us grow the team, whilst also helping us set up processes and systems to help improve the productivity of each of our sales team members. This would involve mentoring and training the sales team, as well as defining the interaction between sales and the counterparts in product and marketing. With these fixes, we want to be able to 10m ARR by the end of this year, and 20m ARR next year, the success of which you would be responsible for by defining our go-to-market strategy. 


You will be responsible for: 

  • Building a top-tier sales Department, 

  • Develop Smartpricing’s SMB-sales processes, 

  • Improve the productivity of our SD’s and AE’s, 

  • Driving up our ARR, 

  • Define the go-to-market strategy of our new product launches

  • People Leadership: 


What Are We Looking For?
  • A proven sales leader with track record working for SaaS companies,

  • Strong experience selling to SMBs, managing short-sales cycles at high volume, 

  • Scaled a sales organization going from 10m to 30m ARR and beyond, 

  • Managed sales across multiple European markets, with understanding of individual market requirements, 

  • And Ideally you have prior experience working in the accommodation or hotel industry.
