About Smartpricing
We are Smartpricing, and we support small and medium-sized accommodation providers with solutions to help them fight back against the huge hotel chains. We started in 2020 by providing these companies with a dynamic pricing manager which can update room prices 100 times per day, and increase revenue by 30%. We were named one of Italy’s top start-ups in 2023, and are the fastest growing B2B SaaS company in the accommodation space in both revenue and number of clients. Today we are working with over 3000 companies in over 17 countries, and steadily growing. Yet, this is only the start of our journey.
As we head into the latter half of 2024, we are looking to launch a suite of new products and focus on internationalizing our reach further. We aim to work with 5000 SMB clients by the end of this year, and aim to keep our 100% growth rate up well into next year. This means we have a very exciting time ahead of us, and require to work with some of the best people the tech industry has.
What Will You Do?
Our technology team is building a platform of solutions that will help accommodation providers optimise the way they run their business. We are investing a lot in R&D with the intention to double the amount of products we host on our platform by the end of the year, and as such are expanding our engineering team.
To provide excellent leadership of this growing team, we are looking for a proven and experienced Full-stack Engineering Lead to join us on our exciting journey. You would help us upskill the team, working to set engineering standards, highlight inefficiencies and perform code reviews where relevant. You will also be working closely with product teams on all topics relating to product development. Lastly, you will be working to provide strong people leadership to your team of Full-stack developers to help them develop in their role and career.
You will be responsible for:
Promoting high engineering standards: supporting your direct reports to challenge the choices and solution, perform code reviews, set standards, highlight inefficiencies, help them with other proposals and PoC
Leading an Engineering team from the front, through hands-on work on high-level architecture and analysis.
Strategic initiatives: Working with the Head of product & product managers on OKRs and discoveries roadmap
People Management: supporting your team individuals through all stages of their lifecycle with Smartpricing from onboarding through to performance reviews and offboarding
Hiring: Working with internal talent partners to build out the team and ensure we are scaling in accordance with technical requirements
