We are Smartpricing, and we support small and medium-sized accommodation providers with solutions to help them fight back against the huge hotel chains. We started in 2020 by providing these companies with a dynamic pricing manager which can update room prices 100 times per day, and increase revenue by 30%. We were named one of Italy’s top start-ups in 2024, and are the fastest-growing B2B SaaS company in the accommodation space in revenue and number of clients. Today we are working with over 3000 companies in over 17 countries, steadily growing. Yet, this is only the start of our journey.
 
As we head into 2025, we are looking to launch a suite of new products and focus on internationalizing our reach further. This means we have a very exciting time ahead of us, and require to work with some of the best people the tech industry has.
What Will You Do?
The Role:

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an exceptional Head of People to join the team, who will help us to scale and build the best people function globally.  Reporting directly into the CEO, you will take full ownership of growing our People division. This role is critical in driving our success by developing and retaining top talent, ensuring compliance with global employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. 

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for implementing and delivering companywide strategies, whilst being the primary driver behind all of our operational workstreams. Playing a pivotal role in leading a team of HR professionals and shaping our companies culture and vision.

  • Develop and execute a visionary People strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives to ensure our people initiatives support the overall business strategy.
  • Work closely with our founders and company leaders to shape the companies vision.
  • Lead and design the optimization of all the processes related to the People function including: recruiting, onboarding, performance management and HR operations.
  • Oversee and lead on recruitment efforts when needed, to help attract top-tier talent quickly and efficiently, ensuring that the workforce can scale to meet business needs successfully.
  • Safeguard and nurture the company's culture, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that adapts and scales with the organization.
  • Build and inspire the people team covering recruitment, people and culture, and employer branding
  • Invest in leadership development programs to build a strong leadership pipeline, essential for guiding the organization through rapid growth.
  • Elevate our employee engagement score, eNPS, and well-being, and foster an inclusive, diverse culture. 
  • Oversee and support the team to shape a magnetic employer brand for talent across Europe with a strong focus on Italy, Spain and DACH
  • Promote diversity and inclusion efforts to create an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and included, which is crucial during periods of expansion.
  • Master a remote strategy that unites, empowers, and supercharges productivity. Pioneer the art of top talent scouting across the globe and sculpting a recruitment strategy that identifies A-players with pinpoint precision.
What Are We Looking For?
  • An exceptional people leader, who has experience in scaling people functions, preferably for either a start-up or scale up.
  • You bring 7+ years of strategically leading People teams of HR Business Partners, People Operations Officers, Recruiters, and Employer Branding specialists.
  •  You have a track record of leading, mentoring, and inspiring management and People & Culture teams internationally.
  •  You bring a strategic, positive, and refreshing People & Culture mindset, with an inexhaustible appetite for adventure and speed.
  • You can confidently plan and manage financial forecasts and budgets.
  • You know how to manage stakeholders and know-how to get things done by bringing structure & prioritization with tact and organizational savviness.
  • Provide effective leadership to the People team, supporting growth and development. 
  • You led an organization through a similar scaling phase before and thrived on these dynamics with your unparalleled execution power and drive to create a unique People & Culture approach.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • You are results-oriented, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and a track record of achieving goals.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
