Full Stack Engineering Lead

What Will You Do?
We are looking for aə Full Stack Engineering Lead proactive, independent, highly motivated to guide and inspire our development teams, providing guidance and technical leadership in the front end. 
Our technology stack includes: Linux, Node, JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue, SQL, NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
We especially expect you to be partially operational, so you can be the person who raises the bar on the quality of our teams' output. We are not looking for someone who is solely managerial and hands-on.
The role could be broken down as follows: 
  • 30% contact with PM, designers, peers and stakeholders, scrum ceremonies, roadmap.
  • 35% people manager: 1-1, code review, pair programming, feedback, performance review, hiring.
  • 35% bar raiser: adoption of best practices and standards, test coverage, proof of concept or analysis of more complex tasks.
You will work closely with some product teams and be a guarantor of their output and growth. You will also interface with Product Managers and peers dealing with backend core and infrastructure and Data Science for strategic choices.
We work in Agile with Scrum methodology and use English as the basis for developing, describing and documenting our features, tasks and processes making our work internationally accessible!
What Are We Looking For?

  • Experience and passion for the role - Do you have previous experience in the role of Head Of Engineering | Engineering Manager | Tech Lead | Technical Team Leader? A minimum of 2 years' experience is required. 
  • Experience in full stack role - Do you have previous experience in the Full Stack Developer or Frontend Developer role? A minimum of 5 years' experience is required.
  • Excellent experience in Node.js and REST API development.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in designing stable, scalable and maintainable systems.
  • Experience in developing distributed systems.

  • Ability to operate autonomously: making decisions, defining KPIs, with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Knowledge of microservice architectures.

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
  • Good English skills B2 level - We are an international company, we want you to be able to understand and interact with others effectively.
  • Extremely proficient in frontend technologies
  • Proven and extensive knowledge of Vue Js and React frameworks (5+ years)
  • Experience with development best practices. Code review workflows, continuous integration, unit testing, functional testing, end to end testing
  • Have worked in a context with structured performance review practices and be able to implement them
  • Problem solving skills - you will be faced with new challenges every day, you will need to be adept at dealing with them in the easiest and most effective way
